Welcome! I am Kayla Furie- Atlanta-based actor, singer, and dancer who's spent most of my life on stage in one way or another.

My credits include Ado Annie in Oklahoma!, Erma in Anything Goes, and Dainty June in Gypsy, King Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar and Little Sally in Urinetown; and Tina in Ruthless! The Musical. I have also played Young Florence in Chess, Mary in The Secret Garden, and Susan in White Christmas and appeared as Bielke in Fiddler on the Roof and Marta in The Sound of Music and as Jane in Mary Poppins at Aurora Theatre.

I am formally trained in musical theatre, voice, and dance, and I am drawn to characters with a little chaos in them- the ones who get to be funny and heartbreaking in the same scene.

Fun Facts & Dream Roles

My favorite dance style is tap, and when it comes to favorite musicals, I love whatever lets me tell a story that makes people laugh or cry- ideally both. My dream roles are Fanny Brice in Funny Girl, Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, and Roxie Hart in Chicago.
